HPaW Opioid Overdose Prevention and Naloxone Training

This one-hour training is for students interested in being trained to administer Narcan (naloxone). Attendees will learn how to recognize signs of an opioid overdose, identify when it is appropriate to use Narcan, learn how to administer Narcan to an individual they believe is experiencing an overdose, and identify additional emergency steps to take. All attendees will receive a two-pack of Narcan upon completion of the training.

Norris is hosting its Spring Arts and Crafts Fair on Friday, April 24th, and we are currently accepting vendor applications! We're looking for a diverse range of artists from the Northwestern community to showcase their work. No experience is necessary to become a vendor.

The vendor application is available online and the deadline to apply is Monday, February 24.

Open Call for Artwork: SITE x DITTMAR

As a part of the School of the Art Institute of Chicago’s SITE Galleries and 果冻传媒’s Dittmar Memorial Gallery’s 30th and 52nd anniversaries, we invite current student artists from both institutions to for this collaborative exhibition.

The curatorial concept centers around archives, including but not limited to conversations surrounding personal, institutional, artistic, historical, and cultural archives.

Apply for the Mellon Mays Undergraduate Fellowship

The Mellon Mays Undergraduate Fellowship (MMUF)--which is funded by the Mellon Foundation--provides mentoring, research, and financial support ($18,600) for Northwestern junior and senior undergraduate students who are considering Ph.D. study in Mellon Mays designated fields, and who are interested in a faculty career. The Mellon Mays Undergraduate Fellowship strives, in particular, to promote the value of multivocality in the humanities and related disciplines, elevating accounts, interpretations, and narratives that expand present understanding.


SIGP 2025 Applications are Open!

Applications due March 13 

The Summer Internship Grant Program (SIGP) provides a $3,500 stipend for Northwestern undergraduate students (enrolled at least through Fall 2025) participating in unpaid internships this summer and offers career development support from Northwestern Career Advancement. Students do not need to have an internship secured before applying and previous SIGP recipients can reapply.
